Chicken Cordon Bleu


Saw this receipe on "Food 911" and was tempted to try something with my mom's underused oven. This one didn't turn out too well as the chicken breast wasn't large enough to wrap around the bacon and cheese, or perhaps i was too greedy in cramming too many stuff inside, haha. Resorted to using toothpicks to hold everything in place. But the toothpicks turned into a hassle as removing them later caused the insides to implode and spill.

Also, adding the cheese on top constitutes a total of 3 cheese slices used - making it too salty. Not to mention preserved bacon and some salt seasoning inside.

Anyways, my sis rated it 3.5 out of 5, which was quite encouraging. Perhaps I'll try the foie gras sauce and a proper salad in the future! (but i quite dislike liver in general, how?)
